Silken Swamphounds was an expression coined by Eero Juhola in Finland, in the early 2000’s.

The term Swamphound was used on the site of Kennel Sarafias to describe Silkens with an irresistible attraction to mud, ditches, ponds and every other body of water imaginable.

The page was so funny we all started to use the expression Silken Swamphounds.
